Finwiz SEC Plugin: Graph Historical Data from SEC Filings
Finwiz SEC Plugin is a free Chrome add-on developed by alexguo123 that helps users graph data from SEC filings. This plugin is specifically designed for users who frequently visit 10-Q or 10-K filings on sec.gov.
Once installed, the plugin automatically creates "smart-links" on the left-hand side of the filing page. These smart-links are clickable and when clicked, they take you to a graph of historical data related to the specific section you clicked on.
For example, if you visit a Barnes and Noble 10-Q filing and click on "Cash and Cash Equivalents" in the Balance Sheet section, the plugin will generate a graph displaying the historical data for that particular category. This feature allows users to easily visualize and analyze financial information without having to manually extract and plot the data themselves.
With Finwiz SEC Plugin, users can quickly access and interpret financial data from SEC filings, making it a valuable tool for investors, researchers, and anyone interested in analyzing corporate financial information.
Please note that the screenshots posted provide a visual demonstration of the plugin's functionality.
